Time Wealth: Prioritizing Mental Bandwidth in the Knowledge Economy
Do not underestimate the importance of "lazy work"
This post emphasizes that in today’s knowledge-worker world, we must be careful to believe physical action means good work. The most productive use of time could be sitting on a couch thinking.
In this blog post, we dive into Morgan Housel’s blog “Lazy Work, Good Work” where he challenges us to shift a common mindset about what good work means.
I add to Morgan’s thoughts and challenge us to be acutely aware of how we use our most precious nonrenewable asset - TIME. Be judicious in what we focus on and engage with (hint: limit time spent watching mainstream media news…). I credit the Stoicism philosophy for helping me be more aware and intentional with my time.
